IF YOU WERE MOVING, WHERE WOULD YOU MOVE? (Please specify which City and Why.)

A. Florida
B. Georgia
C. North Carolina
D. Texas
E. New York
F. Virgina
G. South Carolina
H. California
I. Ohio
J. Other Please Specify.

I am 21 and in the process of Deciding where to move. I Currently Live in a Coastal Central Florida City, which I have lived basically my whole life (since I was 2). I Welcome all your opinions. My only "thing" is that I have to be at least a "Day Trip" away from the ocean. Once again I welcome any and ALL responses.

The only areas near the ocean I am familiar with are So. Cal and Nor. Cal.

I am giving up on San Diego area, not because it isn't beautiful, it is. You have access to mountains, desert and ocean all within a couple hours drive of each other. The quality of life is just not what I personally wish for anymore. Also it is a very expensive place to live!

As far as Northern California, I lived there as a kid and it was fantastic. I have not been there in about 15 yrs though. I have special memories of the moutains up there. Breathtaking.

There is a distinct lifestyle difference between the two parts of the state. They have talked every once in a while about making CA two seperate states. It will probably never happen but you would think they were already seperate due to the differences between the areas.

Hope it helps

At 21 you need to decide what's best for your career and then move somewhere desirable later. Did you graduate college? If not, I'd move somewhere with a low cost of living near a college that has a good night school.

I like cold weather. But the only city I think I could do in NY is NYC. I also love Texas and I think that's the only state I would go back to in the south. I like the Houston and Dallas area especially Houston.

Spade,
If you like cold weather, I can't imagine your being happy in Houston. There is maybe one cold day per year there, sometimes not even that!

Id prefer to live in NONE of those places, but if I had to choose, it would either be NY or Florida.
