If not, why and what countries top it?
If so, why?
I would say definitely yes because this country is so vast with the most diverse landscape known to man.
Pictures are encouraged, even if it's not the US.
Take away some of the midwest flatlands and the dusty plains of certain rectangular states and its a very beautiful country. But I think places like Austria and Switzerland have it beat for beauty. What about island countries like Jamaica
The architecture of Chicago and Phoenix mixed with the Great Lakes forests and Midwestern prairie, Alaska, Hawaii, the Keys of Florida, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Virgin Isles. We're easily the most beautiful country on the planet. Nowhere else can you find such a diverse range of not only climate and landscape but also people. From tropical paradise to North America's most beautiful mountains, all the way to the largest bodies of freshwater in the western hemisphere and some of the world's most pristine wilderness... America... **** yeah!
Definitely. The US is very unique in the sense that there's so many climates and so much unique scenery.
Here are some pictures of the many unique areas the US has:
1. Waikiki Beach in Hawaii
2. Utah
3. Dunes in CA
4. Amish country in PA
5. Acadia National Park in Maine
6. Urban sprawl- as much as we dislike it, the US would be different without it
7. New York City
8. The rolling hills of VA
No, the United States has VERY ugly areas (such as the midwest, parts of the Northeast, and parts of the South), while countries like South Africa, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Ireland, etc.... are beautiful EVERYWHERE.
People who don't think the US is beautiful aren't true Americans.. Get out of the country please. The US is the most beautiful country. We have Hawaii, the rocky mountains, the grand canyon, the rolling hills, the best fall foilage found in the world, the Florida keys, California, saltlake city, the great plains, Seattle, the giant oak trees with hanging moss in the south, the alppalachian mountains, the list goes on and on.
We have the greatest variety, I think. If we were picking based on how much beauty there is here, then yes, the US wins easily. If we're talking about how much beauty there is to ugliness, then it's pretty average. Of course, why not just avoid the ugly or dull parts?
well i cant say that one country is better than any other. i think there are so many breathtaking areas all over the world. but i WILL say that the USA has everything in terms climates, topography, nature, etc
we have mountains, and deserts and oceans, and everything in between.
