It's a shame that the U.S. is not more quickly catching up to this trend, more needs to be done to help us all get weaned from our dependency on foreign oil; also, cycling promotes cleaner air, leaner, healthier, and, therefore, happier people. I wish I could easily find out which cities in the Southeast are cycling friendly, if there is one I may have considered at any point it could be a deciding factor since I'm having so much trouble choosing a place that's right for me...
