I know of a Caribbean restaurant/grocery in Austell--C and D Jamerican Store. I frequent that establishment quite often, and they tend to generally have what I'm looking for.

There's also a Caribbean ice cream shop out here in Douglasville...I almost forgot...another Caribbean restaurant just opened in Hiram.

I'm sure there are others. I've seen one in Alpharetta, I know there are some in DeKalb...but I'm not 100 percent sure about the Southside.

What you find more often than not here are African/Caribbean groceries...we all tend to purchase generally the same things (Goat, for example)

My suggestion is to simply call the various associations here...I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.

I am sure there are some in Henry county. Lately Atlanta has had a large population of Caribbean people. We have lots in Snellville, Loganville, Grayson and Lawrenceville.

Couple of years ago, there was a Caribbean restaurant in Columbus. I think it stayed open for about 5 minutes. I had to walk out when I saw goat on the menu. You know, we'll eat turtle, 'coon, and gator in GA....but a true born and bred southerner doesn't eat goat!!!! LOL!!!
