Yes, I agree with you as well. Like you said, there's certain environments and circumstances. I would be a bit nervous going to board my flight to see that everyone is packing. Even as a "right wing extremist" such as myself... + rep

God gave us the choice of free will and we choose to exercise it. What we do with our free will determines our passage to heaven. but not every christian wants a seat in heaven. there are some that want to create their own heaven. we do have that ability. we protect ourselves and our love ones, that's just human nature. those that are passive and let heaven decide their fate are the biblical sheep (i got banned once for calling someone sheep).

carrying guns in church is no big deal. have faith in your fellow parishioners. in the past, violence was used to protect the faith (catholics vs protestants). even the Vatican has a private army (swiss guard).

I have a better idea: Don't go to church if you are afraid you may get attacked. Thou shall not kill!!
