So. Fl, been there since 1st grade and do not miss it one bit. Georgians wave and say hi, they are pleasant to deal with and very respectfull. Their children are religous and well mannered. I am here since beginning of March 07 and I love it. The golf courses are amazingly beautiful and difficult. Added 10 strokes to my game. The roads are well maintained and the scenery is gorgeous. I am so glad we moved
Sounds good to me... Thanks for the help
Lisa

If your moving to Cumming make sure you like gridlock!
400 from Cumming can be a nightmare and 20 is more like a parking lot than a state route.
Development in Forsythe is just about as bad as Gwinnett.

The old addage:
Welcome to Cumming, cause you ain't going nowhere else!

I agree with that. I think they should add some more sub-divisions in the county. Oh wait, there going up all over.

Hi there,
I have been thinking about the same thing(live in Naples FL) and have done alot of research on Buford, Woodstock and Cumming. They all have good schools, neighborhoods and community activities etc. I have lots of links if you would like any...You can also get visitors guides from differnt couties to give you a better idea of some places, I have found some good books at the CCL too. I also got some very good info and suggestions here on the forum and from local realtors that search here.....What part of FL are you from? I agree with you FL has really gotten quite expensive and not at all what it used to be like. We too are planning a trip to GA this or next month...Take Care...GOOD LUCK...Lisa

Howdy,

we currently live in West Palm Beach, and have seen this place blow up like a high school athlete on roids! we have lived here for five years and cant afford it any more. My wife and I are true florida natives(born and raised,) and have seen to many Hurricanes, Tax increases, INSURANCE drops, we have had enough.for the people that love it here , good , keep it we dont want it.
