Default Reciprocity for Fla. teaching license

Yes... and in Georgia there is a base salary that all counties must be pay set by the state. I have a good friend who just moved to Forsyth county a year ago and one that just moved to Canton this summer. A third teacher at my current school moved to Paulding county... considering a move too ( to Dahlonega) but am going to wait to see what they have to say about system. So far, friend in Cumming ( forsyth countY) LOVES teaching there. Far less stressful, not as much emphasis on state assessment and very technology oriented.

Default What is the base salary?

I'm currently working on my degree in education in another state. We are relocating to GA and I was curious as to what the general base salary is in GA?

Thanks!

Default To cool Mommy- RE: GA Salaries

Your best bet is to visit the county school district websites ( That's what I did). They all have salary charts and the bae pay varies with years of experience. They will show base rate and then add ons for masters, then specialist, then doctorate. Also you can visit the GA department of education website.
Hope it helps! Good Luck!

I have looked for the very info on base pay etc that you mention just yesterday and I could not find any sites that listed info on this for GA schools. Default GA salaries for teachers

You have to go to the website for the school district you are thinking of teaching in. Click on the link for employees or human resources.,,, then pay scale. For instance for forsyth county.....Forsyth County Schools
Good Luck!
