So I just graduated from UGA and landed a great job that I love, but it requires a great deal of travel across the North Georgia area--Everywhere from Habersham to Flowery Branch, and Towns to Dawsonville. I'm temporarily boomeranging back to my parent's home while I find a place of my own. I realize that North Georgia isn't exactly the socialization hub for young professionals, but I have a hard time believing that there isn't a community of young (single) professionals hidden somewhere in the area. I mean, it can't all be young families with children, right? So, really, I'm just asking for any advice or suggestions that anyone might have.

I'd suggest looking at towns that have colleges in them like Cleveland or Dahlonega.
