The best north mountain towns in georgia you could live too see snow would be. Jasper ga, ellijay ga, blue ridge ga, blairesville ga, Blairesville ga has some of the highest nearby mountains around it such as brasstown bald. Blairesville ga does seem like a small city feel but it seems too be growing a little.

North Georgia maybe gets two to three light snows a year. Usually its gone after a few days but the roads are horrible for those couple days. It gets cold though and gray but at least most of the A@@clowns from Atl and Fla go away.
