How is claxton? My grandmother just gave me her house in Claxton and my wife wants to move there. How is the job market there, is the crime rate high? are the schols any good? i just have so many questions cause i been there to visit but i only stayed for a week. also if there is anyone who lives in claxton here please i would like to keep in touch with you to learn more about the people and the area before i move. right now i'm living in philadelphia and would like to get to know what im getting myself into.

I can tell you that the job market is good for anyone with a nursing degree (RN or LPN), or with any other medical training. Depending on career/job experience, you may be okay. I can tell you that the Claxton public schools are one of the worst in the state. The private schools they have are decent. Tattnall County, which is the next county over, has one of the best school systems.
