My wife and I moving from Florida and i've got a job lined up in Doraville. We're just trying to find somewhere that is safe. I've been reading a lot of reviews about apartments in the areas and they all sound horrible. Any help would be appreciated. We're moving on the 31st of this month. Thanks

Yeah Doraville's not the safest place. You probably want to avoid anything around there too (Tucker, Decatur, Norcross = not safe for the most part. Pretty much most of Dekalb county) You could try Lawrenceville. Theres some pretty nice areas around downtown L'ville.. thats where I lived when I lived in GA. Its about 30 minutes (w/o traffic) to and from. You could also try Duluth.. used to work here, pretty nice area. Suwannee's also a nice area.. dont know how affordable it is though. Just avoid Doraville.
