Talking Summerville

The people here are very friendly and your wife shouldn't have a problem at all making friends or feeling accepted. There are people from all kinds of backgrounds here to be such a small town and some of my best friends are different ethnicities. So you bought a house on Buice lane, I know exactly where that is, which isn't really hard because as you've seen, Summerville is fairly small. But I think you will love it here, it's a quiet sleepy town and I could never see myself living anywhere else. Plus it's a 45 minute drive to Chattanooga, 30 minutes to Rome, hour and a half to ATL, so the location is nice too because your not too far from the large cities. Good luck!

yvonne, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately the housing bubble burst a couple of years back and we just can't sell our home for what it's worth. As such we are stuck in Miami, Fl. What is somewhat ironic is that the company that my wife works for just took over the Holiday Inn in Rome and she could transfer there tomorrow and and walk into a management position. I'm still hoping someday we will be able to move there.

I just posted on another topic with the same question I will post here. We are again going to try to move to Summerville. We are looking at a house located on Autum Road Drive in a development called " The Ridges". It's a 4/3 on 2+ acres and that doesn't sound like a development to me . Any insight into the development would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
