One word, two syllables and one annoying duck...AF-LAC!!!!

Columbus is the international headquarters of the largest supplement insurer in the U.S. and Fortune 500 company Aflac...that's likely what happened to Augusta supposedly being richer than Columbus.

How convenient to cut Columbia County out of the mix. Aren't some of Augusta's most affluent suburbs located there?

The guys from Columbus are hilarious lol. While I'm surprise Columbus did have a higher average between 2006 to 2010.

The 2010 census had the income of Richmond higher compared to Muscogee. $39,152 in Richmond versus the $35,384 in Muscogee.

The Columbus posters better stick to comparing the counties, and not the metro areas. The 2010 census had $44,477 in Augusta versus the $36,533 in metro Columbus..

Yeah, Evans and Martinez.. Not to mention Aiken located in Aiken County... Let the guys from Columbus have their fun, because they actually thought them becoming the 2nd largest city would give them more credibility.

Don't forget the other large Columbus based companies - Synovus Financial and Total Systems. I think Carmike Cinemas is based in Columbus as well.
