I f you are interested in stopping a major interstate going through Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina visit this link and follow the instructions. This proposal to make a new interstate through these 3 states would disrupt so much of our National Forest it's just crazy!!

Default Corridor K not part of I-3

Corridor K has nothing to do with I-3. From recent discussions it looks like I-3 is a dead issue. Lightshine

What's funny is that these interstates go through Augusta.. I mean are there really that many people clamoring to get to Disgusta?... a wait a minute a guess they are trying to get out.

I3 was a pet project of former congressman Max Burns.. who represented most of east Georgia including Augusta. He was defeated by Democrat John Barrow several years ago. With Max Burns out of Congress and the Democrats in control, there is a greater chance of Osama Bin Laden turning himself into the FBI then this interstate ever being built. People in Augusta like to talk as though this thing is actually happening.. but aside from Augusta no one really wants this unnecessary interstate.
