Ummm....unless you're out in the sticks, you'll have access to "nursing homes and shopping centers" pretty much anywhere. You might want to be more specific regarding what you're looking for. Are you looking for someplace close to a major city? Will you need to find a job? What are you looking for in the way of a house, schools, etc?

Georgia is a pretty big state....

Default moving to georgia...please help!

i plan to move to georgia and have looked at the marietta, stone mountain and atlanta areas (not closed minded to anywhere else...just don't know where to look).

we plan on renting for a few months but would like to know where we can buy a decent size house (esp in terms of cost of living), in a nice area, with good schools and prospective employment. please help?!
any and all information will be welcomed!

I say your best bet to go to greatschools.com and compare schools. I definitely wont live in the city of Atlanta. If I was you Atlanta traffic is horrific so I suggest you find out where you and/or the hubby going to work and go from there.

Default Moving to Georgia

My family and I are thinking of moving from NY to Georgia next summer. From the searches we have done it seems like the Lawrenceville area and the Peachtree High School would be a good choice. Can anyone tell me about living there? Thanks very much.

What feedback can anyone give me on Dougalsville GA? I'm looking to move to GA. I have two elementary children and Middle/high school child. Interest in a good neighborhood, good schools and a place not in the boonies. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
