There were other incidents with other people and other facts found out after research that convinced me to not only move from that house but from that county altogether. The fact is that I had to move from that particular area due to drugs and crime.

CL is posting about some isolated incidents that occured in a rural section of Canton. You won't have problems in Crestmont, Bridgemill or the other big subdivisions- it's a far cry (and a far drive....lol) from downtown Atlanta.

Default Canton

Another development to check out would be the Governors Preserve. There is over 500 acres of greenspace. Home prices start in the $300's. Real nice place.

I also posted to somebody that they probably would not have any problems in Bridgemill or Great Sky but it looks like some people never read that one.

Default Orange Shoals

Orange Shoals is another neighborhood that is quite nice. It is not as large as Bridgemill and I believe the homes range from 300k-550k. It is a swim/tennis community and has 100 acres of protected green space. They are revitalizing the trails that goes throughout the green space. On the trails there are little streams and shoals - very pretty.

There was a big drug problem in a subdivision of custom homes on 5 acre lots?

And that means Canton has a drug problem?

These forums are hilarious. There was a lady trashing the Hamilton Mill community in Dacula in about 90% of her posts and now this... C'mon people.

Your limited experience in Canton is not indicative of the whole city. Statistics 101.
