Madison Chop House, Tequlia Express (Mediterranean), Town 220 and Amici Italian Cafe are the highest rated Madison restaurants on Trip Advisor. Of those, Chop House is the only one I've eaten at; it's a hybrid of Appleby's and Longhorn.

What a pity! But that reminds me, last time I was in Madison (3-4 months ago) I was very impressed with all the new quality development that's gone up between I-20 and the historic district. Madison leaders are doing a terrific job maintaining the integrity of the town as it grows. Proof that when high standards are set, high standards are met -- even in rural areas.
