My job was just bought out by a company that will allow me to relocate. I am really thinking about Marietta, GA. How is it there, and do anyone have any sugestions on a low crime rate area city to live for single female. I can always travel to city for social life,

Marietta is a nice area, it's much bigger than just the downtown Marietta area, they divide the county up to East Cobb county and West Cobb county. It's really suburban/family oriented. If you stay closer to the city, it gets more single person friendly ( ie: more stuff to do, other single people to do stuff with ) In regards to low crime areas in Marietta, the whole place is pretty low. I've heard around Powers Ferry Rd and 41 have more crime, but it's still not horrible from what I've heard.
East Cobb is seriously low crime, I don't know what West Cobb is like.
I know there are some condos for rent/buy on Columns Dr, very good area. Not a lot of apartment complexes, mostly single family homes. I know there are some townhomes off of Johnson Ferry near Lower Roswell Rd behind the Kroger or in Olde Towne community.
