I have posted on here before with questions about Hapeville. I will be visiting soon and would like to know which area is better for a newcomer in terms affordable apartments(home) MARTA transportation and of course CRIME. Are there good public schools in both areas? Decatur seems nicer but alot more expensive. Are there nice places to shop near Hapeville and Decatur. Is it safe to walk a night in either one of these cities?

Are you going to be working in Hapeville? Maybe the airport, which is nearby? Hapeville is a slightly industrial area. The area of unincorporated Decatur is pretty large. Any specific areas in Decatur?
