I was wondering as someone considering the area for a possible relocation if it maintains a year-round flow of tourists or does it die off like so many other vacation spots? I'm moving not only myself, but a business. Thanks!

Yes, it is pretty seasonal on the south end where the beaches are. Families and beachgoers tend to flock here May-September, golfers October-November and March-April. January - February is pretty quiet.
Permanent residents tend to settle above Demere Road.

Thanks! I was hoping you would see this as I know you're familiar with the area. How about the main commercial area (Demere and Frederica) or even Downtown Brunswick (Newcastle Street) for that matter? A couple of quieter months is fine (it's that way in most of Florida too) but whole seasons gets to be a bit much of a strain financially.

What exactly are you proposing to do here?

A gift store selling kitchenware/kitchen accessories, glassware, barware, candles, bath products, jewelry, etc that also happen to be American-made and well sourced in that they're unique to the local market and good quality, yet affordable.

OK. There is a kitchen store on Demere. Been there for years. A good location for that would be Glynn Haven. Pick up on the Sea Island trade.

A store like that should do well in the Village shouldn't it Lovin?

Mmmmmmaybe. The Village has such a strong orientation towards tourists: beachwear and paraphernalia, munchies et al. I'd probably start my search with the Shoppes of Sea Island to take advantage of the Sea Island traffic.

I see evidence of it but without a website, advertising or any social media going on have no idea of what they offer other than the suggestion from the name (Gourmet Pantry) which sounds different from what I'm doing. I don't offer traditional cookware (more gadgets and accessories) or gourmet sauces/condiments which is what that name implies.

Is Downtown Brunswick to be avoided in your opinion?
