I am currently doing my student teaching at Ball State University in Indiana. I am sick of the cold weather and the snow during the winter and am looking to move to GA. I want to go to the coastal region of GA and have always loved the Savannah area. The problem with that is the cost of living in Savannah I have heard is up there, and being a teacher, not sure I can handle that. Does anybody have any suggestions on where I should look into. I have looked into Brunswick and Richmond Hill. I'm looking for a fast growing community that is in need for teachers. Any help would be appreciated!

savannah is great...but it's really only expensive if you want to live in the historic district...otherwise, not bad at all...just live in a decent n'hood and drive in for special occasions...brunswick is an up an coming coastal town...lots of historic buildings, some in decay...still pretty cheap to buy property...st. mary's is great too...more expensive, resort type small town...it's like anywhere-the further you are away from waterfront, the cheaper the property (usually)
