I had a chance visited to Montgomery, Ala this past weekend; I’m curious to see how Georgia’s Macon, Augusta, Columbus and Savannah stack up against Alabama’s Montgomery, Mobile and Huntsville, etc. What do you guys think?

never been to montgomery nor the other GA cities I been to Birmingham though that reminded me of Richmond VA. it seem to me that Alabama cities appeal more even though i would love to visit the cities of both AL & GA lol

All of the Georgia cities listed blow the Alabama cities out of the water. There really is no comparison. Savannah is way better than Mobile, Columbus trumps Montgomery by a long shot and Augusta is better than Huntsville, but I could possibly see how a person could make an argument stating the contrary.

The only thing valid about this statement is "There is no comparison."

I'm trying to re-divert this to the original thread, but I'd argue there actually seems to be a comparison.

Admittedly, it was much to my surprise.

Non-Atlanta Georgia is only slightly ahead of Non-Birmingham Alabama in GDP
