Now that I have your attention, the constant bashing of other cities is absolutely ridiculous. Constantly putting other cities down while building your city up is stupid. What is the benefit?

News Flash--no city in Georgia will ever become "the second Atlanta". Every city in GA has good and bad qualities about it.

Why can't every Georgia citizen be happy that the state is growing -- both in population and business presence?

Every time I see a post on another forum bashing another city, I immediately discount their opinion and assume that person has an ulterior motive for posting nonsense.

Don't care if you reply or not, thanks for reading.

I agree with your comments. City-boosting is one thing... if you can back up a claim with a citation source or statistic, I cant be mad at you for liking your town. But putting down other cities is dumb. I can overlook a booster if they are not putting down other cities - I tend to write positively about cities that I like, but I'll provide a reason or source. Writing about negative things facing our cities is important... but just putting down another city makes you look like you need to get a hobby IMO.
