I am trying to research on places to live in southern Charlton county GA where I am still close enough to Jacksonville, FL. Are there any apartments, condos, or houses that are for rent that anyone knows about? How is Charlton county: are people friendly, restaurants nearby? I am not too worried about schools since I am 24 do not have children.

If anyone has this information, please let me know! I would greatly appreciate it!

there's not much to do in that area except for fishing and hunting...no apartments, no condos...the okefenokee is just north so it's very swampy, desolate, lots of woods and little creeks...a few rolling hills but mostly flat...a few farms and tiny towns but mostly nothing! relatively close to jax, though...half hour or so to downtown with no traffic
