1.What are the utlities bills like? (Electric, Oil, and Gas)
2.Why does every house have a fire place?(not that i mind, trust me!)
3.Is there alot of Illegall Immigrants floating around?(We have Millions)
4.Is there alot of drugs?
5.How far is the commute to Atlanta? What is the speed limit on 20?
6.Do people judge you if your from NY and are Mets fans???lol

Utilities? Well, there's an outhouse out back...

2.Why does every house have a fire place?(not that i mind, trust me!)
Have you tried having a fire without one? It gets the furniture all black.

3.Is there alot of Illegall Immigrants floating around?(We have Millions)
Yes. Our ponds and lakes are full of them. Not so much since it stopped raining, though.

4.Is there alot of drugs?
Enough to go around.

5.How far is the commute to Atlanta?
Not far enough.

6.Do people judge you if your from NY and are Mets fans???lol
Yes, we judge everyone here. We're very judgmental. Especially if you burn your house down, hoard all the drugs, and disturb the floating immigrants. They don't like that. Also, if you are female, you must dress like Daisy Duke. If you are male, you must have a car horn that plays "Dixie."

You might find a site called Zip skinny to be helpful in answering some of your questions.

Before you come, why leave NY? No judgement here. My grandmother moved here from NY back in the 1950's, but are you one of the people who want to move here, then get here, and try to change everything about the town to suit you? Or are you wanting to move here to take in the culture, adopt it, and adore it like my grandmother did? You're probably coming either way, I just want to know if I ever meet you if I should shake your hand, or draw a weapon. Thanks!

Every house does not have a fireplace but it helps with the heating bills that in some areas are propane.
You are from NY and this is good ole boy country...even natives are
called out.
Light bills in this area run around 200 and up a month.
There are plenty of racists around
There are a lot of good people as well
There is a crappy school system..Ga is 50th in the state.
Principal wants to ban blue jeans
and not progressive at all
If you are a redneck at heart you will fit right in.
