I've been in Canton for nearly two years and haven't met more than 2 Rednecks. And then I saw the post from Simcity Countryboy. He is repulsive. Do keep in mind he's a kid (simcity) and a country (boy).
Georgia is a wonderful place to live. We have a hospital in Canton and another large one is Cartersville. I do know know anything about your childs desease so I don't know if these are the right hospitals for you. I do wish you luck with your family and search.

Guam is even better than Florida. No cold fronts, a much slower pace of life, and not all the annoying tourists.

However, I'm a teacher and real estate in this city is unaffordable for me on my salary. I am coming to the teacher job fair, but am cluless as to what county is the safest to live/work in being alone. I don't know much about the city except for a few visits that I've had and info that I get on the internet. I need to be in a nice neighborhood with great schools, not too far from shopping, affordable single family homes and MOST IMPORTANTLY A HOSPITAL. My daughter has Sickle Cell Disease and I need to have an excellent hospital that specializes in this disease nearby. Please Help.
Single with a child. Moving to Atlanta I would advise you to buy a gun. Because the salary of a teacher would not provide you with a safe neighborhood.
