Try Savannah. The Georgetown community has a very large presence of biracial families.

Hi jade

Since you asked here, I'll reply here. There's a good reason you ask the question; that's because you're not considering California or Hawaii or some other state where interracial couples/families are the norm. But this is Georgia, and there's still a noticeable color line. Many white Georgians in the Atlanta metro area won't care; act offended; stare at you, etc. A few will. At the same time, many black Georgians seem to care; act offended; or stare at you, etc. Some won't. And while some white Georgians say they have no problem, they really do--especially if it's a Black/White relationship. Same with Black Georgians.

The good news is that much of the north metro area is just fine with our relationships and families. The bad news is that it's more affordable in the areas where we'd typically experience the most problems. Ironically, you'd expect that a place like Atlanta--with a large population of people who have experienced the worst of prejudices--would be a place that's safe from prejudice.

All in all, the folks who would have the biggest problem with you, are the folks who matter the least. So don't worry. I wouldn't have moved my family here if I thought there'd be too much of a problem.

If you were a white female married to a black male everybody would embrace you. A lot of black folks in Ga don't like to see a white man witha black women. It is not politically correct. Overall, you should be okay though. Wish you the best of luck. Dacula is a great area !!! Safe, clean.

I think that might be here too,We once had someone(a black male) preach to us in time square (of all the places)on why we shouldn't be together. My husband then kissed me on the forehead and politely told him Thank-you.
