So got 3 tickets week or so ago

No insurance
Revoked Tag
Not changing ID over within 30 days.

What's penalty? Now mind you this was a NC tag and was supposed to have NC insurance but got pulled over in Ga because that's where I live now. From past experience like 12 years ago no insurance that time cost me 312$ and 3 month suspension. No clue on other 2 though....had no idea tag was revoked it was wife's car not really worried about changing ID one....Thing is license was suspended because I was never told a ticket I appealed had gone back to court and I was found guilty and never paid it...so once I pay NC 460$ I get my license reinstated...

Take care of everything. Make it all legal, get Ga tags and insurance, then go to court and explain your case. You may get much of it dropped or reduced.

Can't be said enough, take care of the issues (GA tag, GA insurance, GA DL/ID) and go talk with the county prosecutors BEFORE the court date to see if you can resolve it before hand. Else you'll have to see the judge and probably waste more time in the process.

Chances are good you'll pay nothing more than the fees to get legal, if you do it ASAP. Well, unless you wait to see a judge, then you'll be paying court costs too. They really just want you to fix the issues, that's it.

Well they towed the vehicle and since in NC you must get inspection done we didn't get car out but when we get new vehicles here soon we are going to tag and insure them in Ga. I will go see if we can work something out before court....hope so...hate to have license suspended even longer after I pay to get it back.

Get your ga. license, insurance, and paperwork ready to get your georgia tags. You might get off with only a small fine, if you don't get this done you are looking at least $500 in fines plus court costs, plus you still have to do all of this or move back to NC.

The point that others are typing to make is this: The fine will be dependant on how you handle the situation. The minimum fine will be $0.00, if you manage to get the charges dropped. The maximum penalty will be much higher if you do not focus your attention on correcting the matters at hand. Given the leeway the Courts have in verdicts, and the fact that fines differ County to County (and City to City,) the actual fine in a complex case such as this is impossible to calculate.
