I am hoping to retire in Thomaston, Georgia and would like some info about the town. What I read on the Chamber and many other sites seems exactly like what I want. I am looking for a small town, one where I can safely walk my dogs and enjoy some peace and quiet. It seems that there are restaurants, doctors, an active Humane Society and Public Library, an interesting bookstore (Novel Experience) in Zebulon with book clubs, etc. These are things that are intriguing to me.
