This upcoming July I plan on relocating from New York to Georgia, preferably to Gwinnett County. I am finding that I am getting requests for interviews but it doesn't seem like too many people are willing to do over the phone or Skype interviews.

I need a job to move, but it seems like I need to be there to get a job. How frustrating! With that being said, does anyone have any knowledge of places looking for Customer Service based positions? Also, I may have to temporarily move into a place until I am able to move into an apartment complex, any suggestions on where to look for something like other than AirBnB?

Thanks in advance!

Maybe you could rent just a room off craigslist for a month, for like $500 or so, while you look for a job. That way you aren't signing a year contract or whatever for rent in a city you haven't found a job yet.

This is probably what I will do when I move early next year. (Still haven't decided where I'm going yet though.)

Georgia Lover.....I totally understand what you are going through. I too am planning a relocation this summer and have applied to several places, interviewed via Sykpe a few times; however have had no success with landing a position. I am however in healthcare where there are positions everywhere! It has been extremely frustrating (I've been searching since December). I want to say to you, don't give up. Something will come through. If you want it bad enough, it will happen. Think of this time as time being specially prepared for you. I hope all works out and will keep you in my prayers for success!
