Would appreciate advise on diverse Atlanta areas with good public schools. We are an interracial family and the diverse areas I have researched online seem to have low scoring schools.

Off the top of my head, Parkview HS in Lilburn probably has the best combination of diversity and academic quality.

Pretty much any Atlanta suburbs with good schools will work for you unless it's in the exurban fringe.

Gwinnett county, including Parkview, Brookwood, Duluth high schools and many others will offer the most diverse settings your going to find and all are often in the top portion of schools in the state and top feeder schools to UGA and GT.

Be prepared gwinnett is a real melting pot in many dimensions. Many Asians, Hispanics, and a healthy mix of other smaller groups from Europe and Eastern Europe.

Sounds like Gwinnett. I am also in an interracial family and a lot of suburbs here are not..tolerant. Either you have primarily black communities or predominantly white communities both of which would treat your family ignorantly. I have moved around here so I know. Also the schools and healthcare here REALLY suck. I mean so much that we decided to homeschool and pray we dont get sick. From what you are asking i do think Gwinnett is your best choice but it is also a bit pricier.

Gwinnett is the most ethnically and racially diverse. ONe of the largest Asian populations in The South if not the largest (unless you count Houston). You might want to look into The Duluth area. Also, Gwinnett is home to the #1 public high school i the state.. It is a magnet school and I beleieve as long as you are a resident of the county you can apply.
