Having lived in areas both conservative and liberal, I have found that there are nice, pleasant helpful individuals in BOTH camps and there are nasty, ignorant, selfish individuals that I wouldn't want to deal with in both camps.
When we start taking people as individuals and NOT painting them for their political, religious or sexual orientation we will be 100% better off.

The best places I have lived have always been where people respect others differences and don't let that color their lives.

I agree but does that work both ways though? Did the rainbow flag neighbor throw a fit when the neighbor put a Trump sign in his front yard? Or flew a confederate flag? That's the issue these days.... because too many think when their feelings are hurt or offended that others rights stop. It doesn't work that way.

Who has thrown a fit on a Trump sign on their yard? The same people that couldn't stand a Hillary sign in their neighborhood. Both sides have their stupid idiots.

Now the flag is a different issue, while I believe you should be able to fly whatever you want in your private property. Let's not ignore that the confederate flag does have a dark side attached to it, so some will find it offensive. Still they should be ok to fly it in their private property and he'll living in the south I see it quite often, I just ignore it

as I said earlier people should judge each other as individuals and their actions rather than groups.
