I got a job offered in Milledgeville. I'm currently living in Macon right now. Is there any cities located between Milledgeville and Atlanta. I want to be able to come back to see my friends and family in Atlanta more often. Thank you

You'll be miserable both ways, if you live halfway between. It's better to live where you work and have a short commute five days a week. See your friends on the weekends. Otherwise you'll spend half of your day driving someplace.

Besides, Milledgeville is a cool little town. You might enjoy making new friends.

Madison's too far to commute to Milledgeville unless you really want to have that "big city commute time" experience. Eatonton makes more sense (25-35 minutes to downtown Milledgeville) though I find downtown Milly far more interesting and nice.

For reference, I'm up at the Putnam/Baldwin county line, and it takes me 90 minutes to get to ATL airport in light traffic and less than 20 minutes to get to downtown Milledgeville or Eatonton.

I live in Atlanta and prefer a big city, but as smaller places go, Milledgeville is a nice place. I agree with Ellie. I like Madison a lot, but it's really not going to put you that much closer to Atlanta but will make you do a lot of driving every day.

In the grand scheme of things, Milledgeville and Madison are rather similar.
