I'm in my 20s and currently live in Iowa City. I love the size of the city, all the local business, the walkability to downtown, the community feel, and how safe I feel here. It's a college town and I love all the constant citywide events.
We only want to leave for a change of pace and hopefully a closer proximity to nature/outdoors activities. Jobs don't matter- we're not looking for anything permanent or in any specific field.
My boyfriend wants to check out Missoula, MT, but I was stuck on Athens after doing research about it.
I don't want to live in a big city or anywhere not walkable!
Thanks in advance!

I've spent time in both. I vote Missoula. It just sounds like a better fit for you.
