I just know it is very small and way out in the country.. not really near any major cities.. I know its claim to fame is that it's the hometown of Herschel Walker.

Your schools will be assigned by where the house is. That is the way it works in almost every school system in GA. So unless you are going private--these are your schools. GA requires proof of residence to enroll in school.

Johnson County Schools

It looks like there is only one elementary, one middle and one high school in the entire system.

You are correct...ONe of each.
Very friendly town, but also very racially divided....whites and blacks live very separate lives and they all seem to like it that way.

Wrightsville Ga is the most corrupt small town I have ever known. The sheriff and the chief of police take payoffs from drug dealers and harass innocent citizens to the point where an outside law enforcement won't listen to them because of their records. Born and raised in Wrightsville, did the smartest thing I could ever do and move out of state, amnd never have had another problem with the law!
