Hi,
We may be relocating to Atlanta for a job transfer to LMCO-Dobbins. The usual questions - where to live with a manageable commute - say under 30 minutes, good schools (we have a 3yr old and a 9mo old) and family friendly. My husband can utilize flex-time to avoid peak travel times. We would like a neighborhood where all of the homes do not look exactly alike, with child-friendly amenities - under 300k. I am currently a SAHM, but went to Ga Tech in the early 90s, so I am a little familiar with the area.

Thanks for any help

My brother lives in Camden Pointe and they love it. You can get a pretty big house for the money. They have been rezoned to the new school. Pickett's Mill, Allatoona High but it should be really nice and the schools are all good around there. They are very convenient to shopping such as Publix and Kroger and then not far off the path of 41 where everything is new such as SuperTarget, Kohl's and MORE...there is also an Avenue not too far from there. HOA dues are not bad and it is swim and tennis. Most neighbors are transplants from all around but keep their yards up (HOA) will make them.

Resale seems to keep their value in that neighborhood. Now getting to 75 can be a bit of a nightmare.
