Have lived in NW GA for about 18 months. Catoosa county (Ringgold / Fort Oglethorpe) is within commuting distance of Chattanooga. The Catoosa County schools have a much better reputation than Hamilton County (Chattanooga). The large hispanic population mentioned in the previous post is in Dalton, which is south on I-75 from Ringgold.

I have lived all over the south and Northwest GA is the best of them all (my opinion lol). I am 15 minutes from Chattanooga, TN and 15 minutes from Dalton, GA (aka little Mexico) but still live in a very rural setting and it is great
