Another great economic win for SW Georgia. It seems Gov Deal will be spending his last month in office announcing new jobs across the state...

Quote:
A tool and die, metal stamping and assemblies manufacturer is moving from New York state to Thomasville, and will create 230 jobs.

Forty-five-year-old Check-Mate Industries, currently based in West Babylon, New York, is moving its headquarters to Thomasville and will operate in the former Caterpillar plant.

The move was announced Tuesday in Thomasville by Gov. Nathan Deal and Check-Mate Industries executives, including CEO and owner Regina Vieweg.
