And the OP specifically stated interstate routes.

In fairness, I don't think any of the 'loops' in GA are prizewinners.

Interstates have no scenery and you're going 70+, so it's kind of a pointless discussion.. Glad I said a highway instead..

Take it up with the Original Poster. It's his thread.

I’d say let’s just keep at interstates. I may start another thread talking about other good stretches of non-interstate highways.

If you'll kindly allow an outsider to chime in, I-95 is a favorite stretch of mine in Georgia and probably most other travelers north of the state coming down the highway who by that point are fed up with 95 being four lanes at most parts of North and South Carolina and part of Virginia for more than 400 miles. It's such a relief to get three lanes of traffic each way, and the welcome center has got to be one of the top 10 of its kind in the country (I haven't seen them all, but it's so beautiful, lush, scenic and relaxing and makes you feel at home). Yes, it's mostly marshland and no sizable cities of much note between Savannah and Brunswick, but it gets you where you need to go fast, exits are clearly marked, and it's rarely congested in my experience. What more could you ask for?

It's a very short stretch, but I-20 across Lake Oconee provides some beautiful scenery to break up the monotony driving between Atlanta and Augusta.
