thinking of relocating Statesboro area, wondering what the water supply like, are most homes using well water or hooked to city system? we will be looking to buy on outskirts of town, prefer country living.

Inside Statesboro city limits is served by city water. Outside of that there is no municipal water supply, but there are a bunch of community water systems, ie various subdivisions are on the same well. If not part of one of those systems, you'll be on an individual system and responsible for the maintenance et al. of it.

Well water down here is very good as it is off of the Florida aquifer.

thanks for info. made the mistake of not checking when we bought land in Fl. big expense dealing with heavy iron in water. prefer well water as we like living just outside of town.
