What are you guys’ opinions on this? I particularly enjoy US 19 between Dahlonega and Blairsville because of the rural beauty of driving on the highest mountains in the state.

Yes I love that one!

I also love the highway from I-20 to Eatonton. Is that U.S. 441 or U.S. 16? It's been a while since I've been there. There's lots of farmland and it's so pretty.

Yeah I agree with you on that stretch too. That is US 441 between I-20 in Madison and Eatonton.

US-129 between Gainesville entering into the Blueridge area
GA-79 from US 129 into Helen, and again further north into the Mountains
GA-53 between Cumming and Dawsonville through Lake Lanier
GA-20 between I-75 (north) and Cumming
GA-369 / US 23 North of Gainesville
Both US 19 & US 23 are nice in the mountains
GA-106 between Athens and Carnesville fairly scenic with farms and small towns
US 80 between Savannah and Tybee Island

On that note, GA520 and GA25 Spur E (the causeways to Jekyll and St. Simons Islands) are pretty spectacular as well.

I’d even throw in US 17 across the Sidney Lanier Bridge as well. That stretch has some spectacular views of the surrounding barrier islands and landscapes.

I did mention that stretch earlier, but yeah. How many times have I gunned it to get to the top of that bridge to catch the sunset and the ensuing Green Flash?

It doesn't have mountains or the coast, but GA 540 from Macon to Columbus (Fall Line Freeway) has some points where one can see for miles and is beautiful in is own way to me!

I agree. There's that little renegade ridge that runs through there, and from it you have a seemingly endless vista of the Coastal Plain. It's much like the view you have from Monticello in Virginia.
