Is metter ga a desirable place to live . Looked it up and looks like Mayberry .Anyone please enlighten me … tks

You know what they supposedly say, “Everything’s better in Metter.” Besides being roughly an hour from Savannah and next to an interstate, I don’t know too many advantages to living there versus, say, Garden City or Richmond Hill. Maybe lower home prices? But at what cost. It’s a standard Mayberry type small town, has a Ford dealership and such as well as basic needs, but not much else. I guess Statesboro is close; you know what, just look there instead.

Their motto is "Everything's Better in Metter". Cute small south Georgia town. Close enough to Statesboro and about an hour's drive to Savannah. Also home to The Guido Evangelistic Gardens. A beautiful place. Seeds from the Sower was filmed there for many years

It’s a pleasant little town. There are far worse places to live in SE Georgia

It's a farm town - not much going on. Similar to Soperton.
