I notice that NCAA athletes can now begin to be compensated in the state of California after legislation went thru with the measure.
For many years, schools and universities have provided student athletes with scholarships. Now, a Georgia lawmaker wants to provide them with additional compensation

Some schools such as UGA earn millions of dollars on the backs of their athletes. Giving them a modest payment is the least that can be done in return.

Rather than pay them directly what might be reasonable is funding an annuity that they get later, especially if they get delayed disabilities due to football injuries.
