That's neat, but, this from the article has me scratching my head:

Bill de St. Aubin, the CEO of Sizemore Group, an architectural firm based in Atlanta, said concerns over fire protection have led to some hesitation to use wood in mid-rise office buildings. But mass timber – unlike the wood used in stick-built residential construction – is actually more fire resistant than steel, he said.

How can wood be more fire resistant than steel????

I've been watching the videos & it exceeds the fire standards for structural materials by about 50%. Some good stuff on this, the savings on labor is actually why it's cheaper to build with this material.
