Get ready for West Coast style homeless encampments if this goes through.

Or massive foreclosures on properties because landlords can’t pay the mortgage.

P. S. Just read online that the WH is going to use a "CDC quarantine" to try and halt evictions

According to the agency order, the White House is directing the Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to study the issue. The order would impose criminal penalties on landlords who violate the ban, and the broad new order is being issued through the CDC’s public health powers.
Good. But this was always going to be messy. It's a pandemic. If other major mortgagers follow suit á la Freddy Mac, rent won't be collected until after Dec. 31. But the earned income landlords need to pay mortgagers could be addressed more directly by leadership pressuring these same banks that millions of our tax dollars went into saving in the first place. The money landlords want to pad their very diverse lifestyles, from moderate to excessive, should concern no one but the vultures finger-crossing picking up homes in the future.

Since the majority of people rent, businesses too should be aware that holiday consumption is going to absolutely fail to bring in money for their excessive overproduction practices too. It's a lose-lose for all but the well-monied or rich.
