You don't 'fix' poverty by raising taxes. It actually does the opposite.

I have never been hired by a poor person, so trickle down ALWAYS worked well for me.

Money typically flows from those who have more money to those who have less.

Not ALL money flows like this, but most of it does.

Trickle down is mostly effective, but not totally effective. Sometimes the rich decide to keep more for themselves, and not let as much trickle down. If it their hard earned cash, tht is their right.

If the government facilitates the rich people keeping more of the cash, then that is governments fault for not putting in safeguards to make sure the money trickles down. The Trump tax custs were a good example.

Companies used some of the tax cuts to buy back stock, & bonus Execs. Why did gov't fail to prevent that?

Because the government is inept, corrupt, & way too big to get anything done well, and on-time.

The brand of your politics matters not, they are ALL inept and corrupt...Blue and Red alike.

The bigger gov't is, the more it spends, and the more it steals from taxpayers.

False. It actually averaged roughly 3.5% each year he was in office.

It was Voodoo Economics. It didn't work then, but at least we don't have to worry about it now. Thankfully, elections have consequences.

ATLANTA — A settlement has been reached between the Georgia Department of Public Safety and 26 troopers who were fired after they were accused of cheating on a test during Trooper School, according to officials.

In February 2020, nearly the entire 106th Georgia State Patrol trooper class was fired in connection to the alleged cheating. After a one-year investigation that produced nearly 8,000 documents, most of them were cleared.

Default Georgia General Assembly passes cocktails to-go bill

People in Georgia would be able to buy cocktails to-go under legislation that cleared the General Assembly Monday.

Quote:
The state House of Representatives voted 120-48 to pass a bill that originated in the Georgia Senate that would let Georgians buy up to two mixed drinks in to-go cups holding a maximum of 3 ounces of liquor in each. Georgia already allows to-go sales of beer and wine...

... The bill, which now goes to Gov. Brian Kemp’s desk, would not let customers buy only mixed drinks. They would have to buy food along with their take-out drink order.

To-go drinks would have to be in tightly sealed containers without holes for straws and be sealed so securely it would be easy to tell whether they had been opened.

They also would have to be stored in a glove box, locked trunk or behind the back seat while driving.
