Iif you could live in either school district, which would you choose and why? Not just the schools but quality of life for a family are important, and the commute would be to Dobbins - but flex time us available. Also, home price range is $250k, so neighborhood suggestions are also welcome.c

Harrison would be a better school but not by much. It's a toss up, KM would get you closer but I went to North Cobb '96, alot has changed b/c neither school was around back then.

I am in the North Cobb district and we are planning on moving across Hwy 41 in the next year or so. We want to get into the Kennesaw Mt. or Harrison district. I have friends that teach and have children in both districts. I think they are both very good schools so I am looking at houses in both.

We live in the KMHS district and I have a daughter going into 9th grade there this fall, and my son played 7th grade spring football there. We are impressed with the school.

Having said that, if you look at the testing and the ratings, Harrison does come out a bit better in most of those lists. Either is a good choice, and the difference is always student drive and parental involvement.
