Out of these cities chosen at random, which city would you live in?

I have always thought Annapolis was a charming place with a great location. I could happily live there.

Annapolis and Boulder are alike in many. They both have a community feel to it and are family oriented. I weather wise, I would give a very slight edge to Annapolis. Boulder is beautiful, but I couldn't take the winters there.

well if you are a mountain person.. then Boulder is the obvious pick.. If you are into boatong, the annapolis. I guess I would choose annapolis because of its proximity to the nation's capital.

All three are fabulous little college cities, with a lot to recommend them, but none really has an advantage over the others other than in climate (and let me interject: I have lived in Boulder county, and the winter isn't as bad as it's been made out to be-and most of the time there, it's pretty darn sunny).

I think what you may *really* be asking here without realizing it, is, which major city near these 3 smaller cities is preferable for the big city options:
Denver
Washington, D.C.
Atlanta

Comparing those 3, I don't even see the competition. Denver wins for me, hands down. That's just personal preference, though.

Don't know about Annapolis, but who can afford to live in Boulder? Visited a friend out there a couple of years back and was shocked at housing. I am sure Athens would win in a cost of living comparison.

Yeah.. Athens wins hands down in affordability. annapolis is pretty pricey.. but probably not as bad as boulder.

Never been to Annapolis or Boulder, but I did go to school is Athens. I love Athens. It is hard to compare these cities because they are so different in terms of geography. I am sure Annapolis and Boulder are beautiful.

I guess the main thing they have in common is that they are all college towns.
