Yes it is. Not to burst your bubble, but does the Augusta Mall have a Lucky Brand Jeans, Jack & Janie, The Sharper Image, Pottery Barn, H&M, Tous, Godiva, L'Occtiane, The Cheesecake Factory, etc? Not that I am aware of.

Perimeter Mall on Ashford/Dunwoody rd in Atlanta was nice and I liked Northlake on La Vista rd. My official mall was Northpoint in Alpharetta. I saw a few football and baseball players shopping there. I guess I'm not a big fan of giant malls.

Is this thread only considering enclosed malls? Or are open-air malls an option?

This is without a doubt true, but this is also representative for where/how our population has grown and where the money has followed.

You can find farm lots with a drive to the city to the southeast, but to the northeast it is mostly suburban urban lots for a much larger distance away from downtown.

What I will say about Newnan is Newnan crossing, while not as large as a traditional mall, is definitely filling the gap of the type of retail typically in a mall.

Thanks, I just realized it was an old thread!

Umm... partly because it is better someone resurrect than create a new one, so people can look at old existing information... rather than re-do everything all over again
