Wierd! While roaming around at work today I picked up a National Geographic from April '08 and it had an excellent pic of the Red Neck Games in it LOL

Smile Mule Days in Calvary, Georgia

This is the best of the best for South West Georgia. I set up there for sales and they are great! Try to visit if you can! First Saturday in November.

Katsmeyow, why do you not move? Are you so dependent on someone else or so gutless that you cannot leave? Delta awaits as Lewis Grizzard says. You say you are form Albany and I am sorry to see someone who is so miserable. State law does not hold you here. Go trash somewhere else for a change and make them as miserable as you obviously are. Sure Albany has its bad points, but so does Atlanta, Gainesville, Tallahassee, on and on. You happened to be one of the bad points in Albany.

Here are a few I think should be on the list.

Savannah's Saint Patrick Day Parade/Festival
Music Midtown (Atlanta)
Dogwood Festival (Atlanta)
Macon Cherry Blossom Festival
Atlanta Gay Pride Festival
Athfest (Athens)
Oktoberfest (Helen)
Dahlonega Film Festival
Vidalia Onion Festival
Georgia Rennaissance Festival

any thoughts on these?? which ones would you add? How would you rank these festivals on a list??
National Black Arts Festival (Atlanta)
Atlanta Jazz Festival
Montreax Jazz Festival
Georgia Apple Festival
Atlanta Film Festival 365
Atlanta Arts Festival
Sweet Auburn Heritage Festival
Little Five Points Halloween Festival

Of the festivals I've actually experienced:

1. Dogwood
2. L5P Halloween
3. Atlanta Film
4. Pride
5. Black Arts
6. Atlanta Jazz
7. Atlanta Arts

Any festival in the North GA mountains is great! Flatlanders don't know how to have fun. Pack up your banjoes, fiddles, mandolins and come on up!
